SciX, the new Science Explorer platform, has officially come out of beta and launched its full version. Built as a natural evolution of the long established Astrophysics Data System (ADS), SciX expands beyond astrophysics to bring together research across heliophysics, planetary science, Earth and environmental sciences.

For researchers, this means less time searching across fragmented systems, and more time focusing on discovery. With intuitive search capacity, smart recommendations, and expanded coverage, SciX makes it easier to connect the dots across disciplines, whether you’re modeling space weather, studying climate dynamics, or exploring exoplanetary systems.

SciX is designed to enhance research productivity at every stage of the research cycle, from literature review to tracking the impact of your publications. By showcasing connections across NASA science, it catalyses collaborations that can lead to new breakthroughs and greater impact for your work.

As a NASA cooperative agreement, SciX builds on decades of open research infrastructure that have powered discoveries big and small. Its future development will be guided by feedback from the community, ensuring that it grows alongside NASA’s research ambitions.
