The language style in Version 4 of the FITS Standard document was extensively edited to provide more consistent word capitalization, hyphenation, punctuation, and fixes for other typographical issues. (Thanks to Malcolm Currie and Lucio Chiappetti for performing these painstaking edits.) The technical requirements for FITS format files were not changed in any way. This "language-edited" version of the FITS Standard was formally approved on Aug. 13, 2018.
